Home Sweet Home

I have to say that I am actually enjoying being in our new house. It is the first time that our dwelling has not been attached to someone else, except for the two weeks we lived in our house in Missouri. It is quite nice. We have a huge bedroom, with a gynormous closet and a very big/huge master bath. I am loving it. I cannot hear my wife when she calls for me from downstairs, that is a huge positive....I mean negative. Maybe we will have to install an intercom....or not. Our boys are loving the back yard. Aside from the money that we have had to spend, it has been a huge blessing thus far. Although, I had forgotten just how much work home ownership involves. Of course, my wife and I cannot just live in a house, we have to redecorate. I am in the process of putting in a beautiful slate floor. That last sentence is a great example of calling things that are not as though they are. The slate is beautiful, hopefully it will remain that way after I am finished installing it!!!!! Once the slate is installed I will give installing the bamboo floor in the rest of the downstairs. Pray for me!
